In Kaka’s time at AC Milan he made the work for half the players on the field. This is the conclusion at which you arrive if you analyze the performance of the Rossoneri’s until now.
AC Milan only managed to get away with one point after their home game against Bari, which ended 0:0.
Milan hasn’t made any significant transfers during the last transfer period and this fact can be seen very well, as Milan’s veterans are fighting very hard to maintain a top ten position. In fact, not even a top ten position is possible with the current squad.
Now, the Rossoneri’s are on the 11th place in the Serie A.
Their next game is away, against Atalanta. If Atalanta somehow manages to beat AC Milan, the Rossoneri’s may fall even deeper than they have fallen so far.
AC Milan has a quite a good squad, but the team chemistry is missing. For this, AC Milan fans are blaming coach Leonardo for not being able of using the maximum potential of the squad.
Also, Berlusconi and Galiani are blamed too for not wanting to invest in the team. New players are the key for Milan’s success. Fans know this and fans believe in this. Fans also believe that Berlusconi should sell the team to someone who is willing to invest in it.
Fans always exaggerate, but given this situation the fans have every right to comment about the current situation as it is the club owners fault that AC Milan fans have started to lose their smile.
Milan’s incapability to score has now put them on the third place of the teams with the fewest goals scored so far in the Serie A. With only 3 goals scored, Milan has scored more goals than Atalanta and Livorno. These 2 teams are on the last two places of the Serie A grid.
AC Milan’s game against Atalanta is on Sunday, October the 4th.
Maybe this time it won’t be only a waste of time and maybe the fact that Pato has extended his contract with Milan until 2014 won’t be just a waste of money, as Pato will get 2.5 million euro per season.
