Head 2 head
Despite playing away from home, Sevilla are the big favourites of this match, due to their amazing form, five wins in a row. Manolo Jimenez will miss wonderkid Diego Perotti, who is out with an Achilles complaint, but will be able to use Ivorian Romaric, back after a knee problem.
Rangers have important absents like Bosnian Sasa Papac, Kyle Lafferty and the long-term absentees, Maurice Edu and Kirk Broadfoot. What is more, central midfielder Steven Davis is having a flu and is uncertain about the tonight’s match.
Walter Smith, Rangers’ coach, considers: “They have a lot of dangers. Kanoute and Luis Fabiano obviously stand out, but Navas is an excellent player wide on the right as well”.
